Mystery with main character Reggie Lee, an art collector who solves murder mysteries while preparing an exhibit of multiple copies of "Carvaggio's Angel" St. Cecilia.
Synopsis from Amazon: "Caravaggio's Angel is a wonderful introduction for this amateur sleuth. The story draws the reader into the complex, secretive world of art treasures and Reggie is quite endearing. The plot is sufficiently intricate to capture the imagination without being overly convoluted." Some reviewers did not care for the use of multiple languages--an "international" device apparently unpalatable to the "American" palate for pablum in their mysteries. I found its European (not really international) focus engaging.
I recommend it highly for those evenings when commercial television just keeps you up at night (likely a lot of the time). It was a welcome respite from the troubles of the world.
