Centurion's Command

In a land torn apart by an invading Roman Empire, Sabrina is a willful young orphan come of age. Wild, impetuous, and the cause of much despair in her village, she clings to a heritage only half remembered and rejects all suitors, desiring nothing more than the luxury of spending her days barefoot amongst the shrinking woods of the Britons.

But when the Roman threat grows ever greater and the protection of the Briton kings wanes, enemies become friends and Sabrina finds herself thrust under the command of strict Roman Centurion Decius Verres, a man who requires utter obedience and tolerates no dissent.
