Nick and Cami started as special friends (with benefits) until a birthday was forgotten and their relationship stopped. This led to plenty of grovelling which was very fun to watch play out. As these two already had a sexual relationship we didn’t get to see the tension sizzle and develop throughout the book but it was still there in the background. The two characters definitely had chemistry and I loved the way that things ended for them.
