Users are encouraged to install Lyfcam hardware on their vehicles. Before long, every second person has an orb shaped webcam mounted to the top of their car.
Anna is an unashamed technophobe. She has an ancient cell phone, an obsolete PC, and wouldn't be able to download an mp3 track or an e-book if her life depended on it. When Lorelei introduces her to Lyfcam, Anna is unable to shake the feeling that something is horribly wrong with the latest innovation in online mapping. Soon Lyfcam begins to show her things that she doesn't want to see. Things that will terrify Anna and Lorelei. Things that are best left unknown...
