Cross Pollination

All Jimmy Ray wants are his usual Saturday morning blueberry scones. Instead, he is shocked to encounter his own doppelganger.

Almost as upsetting, a Nordic-looking giant also stalks him at the bakery’s mini-mall. Jimmy Ray doesn’t know if the creature is there to help or to harm, but one thing looms imminent: his life will never be the same.

Interested in what the rival Nordics are up to, Praying Mantis Aliens are hard at work trying to corner Jimmy Ray and several other human beings, intent upon mind probing them. As usual, when dealing with humanoids of any type, the Praying Mantises are not happy campers. The Praying Mantis aliens do not get along at all with the Nordics, but it is urgent to find out what kind of bad business the Nordics are up too. Whatever is going on, it is something significant because both side’s time scouts are running into each other in willy-nilly fashion in a nearby patch of the space-time continuum.

Serious business is escalating. Ultimately, several planetary civilizations are being threatened. Jimmy Ray and his best friend, Gary, are at the event horizon of a whole lot of trouble – cosmic trouble that is far larger than the capacity and cognizance of two hapless earthlings.

Cross Pollination is a science fiction novel of love, betrayal, and “what comes around goes around” – a human drama compounded by aliens, alternate universes, and dire cosmic consequence.
