Alle anzeigenI really thought this would be a fun read, but I ended the book really disappointed. The worse part was I didn't expect a lot out of this book to start with. I mean a nuatical archeologist is a hard career to give a character, I littlerally have a bachelor's degree in anthropology and I don't really understand how nuatical archeology works. But I was prepared for that part to not be good or not matter which it really didn't. I also should have looked into this book a bit before I picked it up, because it is not really one book it two basiclly separate stories that only slightly effect each other at the end. To be honesty the only interesting part of this story was Mari's and if the author wanted to do two veiw points she could have fleshed out Mari's story more and also told more of her lover Holmes's side of the story since they were separated the whole time. Heaven's part of the book was boring and I spent most of it waiting to get back to Mari's story. Also Heaven's story wasn't really finished by the time the book ended. I was hoping that this would be a short and cozy read where I could turn off my brian for a few hundred pages, instead I got a confusing and complicated story.
