But it was December, 1864, when Sherman's troops were carving a path of destruction through the South-- and Farraday Plantation, Victoria's home, was directly in their path. Passion burst into a raging blaze as his fingers brushed across her silky skin. But it quickly turned to hatred and rage when she learned that he had fought for the Union. No matter how she tried to fight it, the facts tore at her the man who took her to the heights of ecstasy was a Yankee--the enemy--and the only man she would ever love!
