At this point, Sang, Kota, Victor, Silas, Nathan, Gabriel, Luke, and North don't feel like characters anymore...they feel like family. And honestly? Every time a new Ghost Bird book comes out, I end up rereading the entire series before starting it. That's how much I love this world.What made this book special was finally seeing Sang get closer to becoming part of the Academy. After ten books of fighting, surviving, and proving herself, watching her step into the Academy's inner world felt incredibly rewarding. It wasn't just about belonging anymore...it was about finally finding where she was meant to be.And my heart absolutely broke whenever the boys started questioning whether keeping Sang with them was the right thing to do. They love her so much that they're willing to let her go if it means keeping her safe, and that hurt.
