Kitara Slaw is a shifter in a world that refuses to accept them as they are. Once upon a time human and shifter were friends, then humans realized that they were different from each other. An ongoing war needs to end, all creatures need to become one with each other again. To bad change can never come easy.
Now in a world where old traditions and powers are coming back. The resistance makes it their lives to become this change. To find the resistance is one thing, to join is another, to fight is a whole force beyond power. Forced into this world on accident, Kit must put on a face and become someone she is not.
