Fumbled Arrangement

What started out as a night of fun at a Vegas hotspot somehow turned into saying “I Do” by an Elvis impersonator.

If you think that’s bad, it gets worse. My new husband lied to me and told me he ran a not-for-profit. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

Imagine my surprise when I realized I married one of the best tight ends in the league.

Did I mention my uncle owns the team?

If you think things couldn’t get any more complicated, our plans to get an annulment are unexpectedly put on hold. So, now I’m trapped in this unforeseen marriage until we can find a way out. He assured me not to worry, proposing a temporary solution—move in with him and keep our relationship a secret.

Except, the more I get to know my husband, the more I want to stay married, especially when he calls me—"his wife”.

But life doesn’t always go as planned, especially when my uncle intercepts our news before we have a chance to tell him.

Now his spot on the team is at risk, my heart is on the line, and the fallout could cost us everything.
