It is ten years since Kevin Dixon and Billy Briggs were thirteen, when they were caught stealing, an incident that ended their association, if not their friendship. Kevin’s life is progressing. Two years out of university, he runs a diner, has a steady girlfriend, and plays in a band that is starting to get noticed. His immediate goal is to secure a jam space at Garageland, an anarchic music co-operative housed in a converted self-storage facility, and the center of the local music scene. But his progress could be thwarted when Billy returns to town with his own plans and his own band, and a cadre of new associates.
