Voltei a ler depois de anos só de fanfic e escolhi Poe de primeira. A linguagem é difícil — várias palavras desconhecidas que me fizeram parar bastante.

Gostei dos contos de terror, especialmente 'A Queda da Casa de Usher' — a atmosfera sombria e decadente é muito boa! Mas os investigativos como 'A Carta Roubada' achei entediantes, muita conversa e pouca ação.

Fiquei chateada que 'O Mistério de Marie Rogêt' não tem solução definida — li esperando um desfecho claro e não teve.

Não fiquei com medo (mas isso sou eu). Poe é mais perturbador e atmosférico do que assustador no sentido tradicional.

A edição é ótima, com ensaios e duas traduções de 'O Corvo'. Vale a experiência, mas exige paciência.
