Beschreibung

Alle anzeigenIT by: Stephen King was definitely an EXPERIENCE. 🎈🖤This is one of those books that feels like so much more than just a horror story. Between the mystery surrounding Derry, the characters, the friendships, the fear, and everything lurking underneath the surface, I felt like there was always something waiting to be uncovered.Pennywise and the atmosphere of Derry made this such an unsettling reading experience. The way the story explores fear and how it can follow people through different stages of their lives made the book feel even deeper than I expected. The Losers' Club was one of my favorite parts because their friendship brought so much heart into an otherwise terrifying story. Watching them face everything together made me care about their journey so much more.Stephen King definitely knows how to make a setting feel like its own character, and Derry was one place I will NOT be forgetting anytime soon. 😭🎈 Creepy atmosphere🖤 Friendship & loyalty👀 Mystery & suspense😨 Horror📖 A LONG journey that definitely left an impression⭐ Rating: 4.7/5💭 Mood: creepy • emotional • tense • shocked • fascinated • exhausted📖 Would I recommend it? If you're ready for a long, atmospheric horror story that takes its time building its world and characters… absolutely. 🎈

Scene: Confusing flits between past, present and a thousand different settings. *
Characters: We have the core characters, that we barley get a description of, then we have a thousand extras, that are needless, pointless and so complex - it just doesn't add anything. *
Story: Meh - Could be more clown related considering. There was very little actual horror, and just background fluff with a heavy racist and gross unsubtle sexual tone. *
Recommend?: No. I was so upset by this, I had such high hopes and it just didn't do it for me. It would have been a DNF for me, if I hadn't invested so much time in it. I prefer Kings newer stuff, this has put me off the classics, and it just disappointing.
