নতুন এই জগতের সাথে ওর পরিচিত পুরনো জগতের ভীষণ মিল! তবে এখানকার সবকিছু যেন একটু বাড়াবাড়ি রকমের ভালো- বাড়ির চাইতে সুস্বাদু খাবার, খেলনাগুলোও অসাধারণ।
এই ‘অন্যভুবনের’ বাবা-মা’র চেহারাও কিন্তু ওর নিজের বাবা-মা’র মতো। তবে স্বভাবে তারা আরও বন্ধুসুলভ। বকাঝকার বালাই নেই, উপদেশ বা নিষেধাজ্ঞা আরোপণ-ও তাদের স্বভাবের ভেতর পড়ে না। শুধু চোখের জায়গায় কালো বোতাম না থাকলে, অনায়াসে তাদেরকে নিখুঁত বলা যায়। ছোট্ট মেয়েটাকে নিজেদের কাছে রেখে দিতে চায় তারা…চিরকাল!
নতুন এক দুঃস্বপ্নের জগতের সাথে পরিচিত হয় কোরালাইন, ঘুঁচে যায় আপন আর পরের পার্থক্য। নিজের সাথে সাথে রক্ষা করতে হবে আরও কয়েকটি জীবন। আয়নাবন্দী এ জগত থেকে মুক্তি মিলবে তো?

In Coraline's family's new flat there's a locked door. On the other side is a brick wall—until Coraline unlocks the door.
This is a hard review to write. Not for any reason in particular.To get into things I liked. I enjoy the story and plot as a whole. I like Gaimans writing. I love the vibe and atmosphere of the story. It has always been a favourite of mine. The cat is definitely my favourite character. However, I watched the movie first (as I am sure, a lot of us did). The movie felt more fleshed out than the book. However that might be because of the movie being catered towards an older audience as well. I don't actually have any issues with the book, there are just some things I preferred more in the movie vs the book and vice versa. However this book will stay on my shelves to be treasured.
I adored it! I love the movie but this no where compares to it, it is a lot more scary then i thought it would be lolz I think this is a 10/10 for a cozy spooky ready I adore it!
