I would give this one 4.5 stars and I look forward to season 2 of Every Summer After, hoping that it will tell this story, the story of Charlie. I love that this book gives little glimpses into what happened to Percy & Sam. While I liked the first book a little more, this one was thoroughly enjoyable, also!
Wow.. This was phenomenalFrom the first 50 pages I knew this was going to be a very highly rated book and I wasn't wrong. I READ THIS IN ONE DAY AND I CRIED. Alice and Charlie are WRITTEN IN THE STARS. I love Charlie with all of my heart. A pure hearted, witty, charming but broken soul man who loves Alice with all of his self. THIS WAS PERFECTEdit: OMG SEASON 2 IS COMING ALICE EVERLY COME GET YOUR HUSBAND
Sweet Romance with a Touch of Summer Magic⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3.5 rounded up)This was such a sweet, nostalgic summer read with a cozy lakeside setting and just the right touch of romance. I really enjoyed Alice’s quiet introspection and the way her love of photography tied into the story, it gave the book a reflective, almost wistful feel. Charlie is charming without being over the top, and Nan totally stole a few scenes in the best way.The pacing was a bit slow in parts, and while I didn’t always feel fully connected to the emotional beats, the overall vibe was warm and satisfying. Perfect if you’re in the mood for a story about second chances, quiet transformation, and the kind of summer that leaves a mark on your heart.
