سامر يعاني من مريض بالتوحد يصف بكلمات بسيطة وبلغة شاعرية ما يعيشه من حيرة بسبب معاملة الاخرين له، فهم يعتبرونه "مختلفا" عنهم بينما يرى هو بأنه طفل كبقية الأطفال. ويصف لنا سامر تفاصيلاَ من حياته اليومية وعلاقته مع والدته التي تغني لهSamir is a child that has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He is different from other children. Throughout the story we observe his daily rituals and interactions with his mother. As he goes about his daily activities, his mother sings to him to help him focus on the task at hand.
