The Lake Erie Islands and Dayton, Ohio are the setting for this fictional account of the financial meltdown which began in the fall of 2008. After a visit with friends and a vacation side-trip, Davis McGowan finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation and becomes a target in a plot spawned by the dark side of corporate greed. He follows a twisted path of evidence that only seems to evaporate as he gets close. What he does discover is a trail of unintended consequences and shattered lives.
