When Greenwood High's principal announces that their school has received funding for a student-run cable TV show, junior Sharon Delaney is thrilled. Jeff Russell, the hip new English teacher and their show advisor, says they can discuss any subject they feel is important...everything from the environment to personal relationships. It's the chance of a lifetime!

But Sharon's ideas for debating the issue of dating in the 1990s causes an uproar in the school and in her own budding romance with fellow classmate and cast member Tyler Ratcliff. Tensions build and finally explode in an on-the-air first show Sharon—and Greenwood High—will never forget!
