Beschreibung

In the midst of a snowstorm, the Orient Express occupies an isolated stretch of railway, trapping a diverse group of passengers aboard. Among them is the brilliant detective Hercule Poirot, who soon finds himself entangled in a perplexing murder case when one of the travelers is discovered dead in their compartment. With the train stranded and no means of external help, tension mounts as each passenger becomes a suspect with their own secrets and alibis.

As Poirot methodically sifts through the clues and interviews the eclectic cast, he uncovers layers of deception and motives lurking beneath the surface. With every revelation, the stakes heighten, revealing a tale that is as intricate as the snowflakes blanketing the world outside. This classic mystery showcases Christie's unparalleled ability to weave suspense with memorable characters, ultimately leading to an unexpected and satisfying resolution.

I was drawn to this book by the cover. Murder mystery and a train? Two of my favorite things! I'm so thankful I found this book. It captured me from the first page and kept me on the edge of my seat, something that is hard to do with my wandering mind. Maybe it was just me, but it was difficult to suss out who was lying or being truthful, but it was fun to draw my own conclusions and see if I was right about who done it! The ending through me for a loop and I lost my mind!I recommend this book 100%! You won't regret reading it.

This is a story I was always interested in but I was let down. Not in a bad way that the story was bad; but that I barely understood what was going on half the time. I found myself blacking out while I was reading some passages. I think the writing style is the main reason why rather it being the story.
