My Shadow

The year is 1943 and two USAAF pilots enter the ETO as raw recruits. Filled with hope and dreams of glory, they form an unlikely friendship that holds them together as hope begins to fade and glory disappears altogether. These two men come to confront the reality of war with the realization that heroes are something only for the newsreels back home.

Based on actual events and first-hand accounts collected by the author, My Shadow explores the reality of aerial combat of WWII without the glamour or the hype.
