The poison dance by Livia BlackburneI want to thank the author for giving me a chance to read and review this book. I also want to aplogize. At 56 pages started on October 8th 2013 I should have had this finished ages ago. There should be no excuse but I will give a reason. Other then blogs, and articles I don't really like reading on my computer. Digitally reading something for me takes me longer to get though then an actually book. Add in other things like holidays and well here we are. For people who are not fantasy fans this is a nice slice of writing to get you into it. Written in third person “the poison dance” is intriguing however for 56 pages it does need some time to read this isn't a sit and read in one setting for those of you who are not digital readers (Ipads, nooks, kindles, PDF files) but for those who are this will be short and fun. The ending however is a bit. Well for 49 pages we get to know these characters we wait and wait for something to happen then in the last seven pages something does but it is by passed and epilogued. This isn't a bad thing just unexpected. Over all the poison dance is something that if you are offered to read certainly say yes to, but if you are looking for deep drawing out story wait till the book “Midnight thief” is released, this story gives a good taste into that world however the characters are well done, plot intruding, there's nothing to really “hate” about this story when it is given its time to read with out pause.
