Friends to Lovers isn’t always my favorite trope but I loved watching their dynamic shift and grow. And why did Jasper give me country boy Christian Grey vibes? His backstory, the need for control, etc. I will say that the spicy scenes in this series don’t always seem to quite match up with the character. Like they suddenly have a whole different personality. While I’ve loved the setting of these books and the very real feeling characters, I don’t feel any great desire to read the other 2 in the series. I’ve enjoyed them but they’ve also all kind of felt the same.
