Lean and Six Sigma, referenced as Lean Sigma for brevity throughout this publication, is no longer a tool to gain a competitive advantage rather a key success factor. That is, Lean (and Six Sigma) is one of those factors that you better have in your business or you will not be in business.
Simple and practical steps are provided as well as examples for 50+ of the most common Lean Six Sigma Tools. This book bridges the gap between a highly quantitative analysis of a process that requires extensive training (i.e., Six Sigma certification) and a more simplified approach that can be used and understood by the masses (i.e., Lean thinking). The goal of this book is to make the methods and tools of Lean and Six Sigma accessible to more people and provide a common sense or “practical” approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
For added valued, we have provided Dropbox file links to over 40 Excel worksheets for you to immediately use in your Lean Sigma projects. All the worksheets are below the various charts and graphs in each section as well as in the Appendix. There is the Excel Workbook that contains all the worksheets. Don't go Lean without this valuable resource!
