Alone, widowed and broke, Eleanor Wright has had enough heartache to last two lifetimes. Now she's about to lose her successful antique store—just because "silent partner" Benton Bradford has suddenly surfaced to claim his share of the business. As id that weren't enough, a distinguished St. Louis antiquarian has become Eleanor's devoted suitor..but alas, he rings no bells.
