Pronouns

This long unavailable collection of poems by the most important American experimental poet of our time, was originally written on 3/5 cards as words and "action phrases" to be performed by such major experimental dancer-choreographers as Meredith Monk, Trisha Brown, Simone Forti, Kenneth King, and Fred Herko. The book includes photographs of an early (1965) performance, detailed explanatory texts by the poet, and his "They Manifesto," a scholarly justification for the use of the pronoun "they" in place of "he or she."
