At 30, Brie thought her life would be different. Yet after eight years of teaching, she’s lucky to stay awake on the weekends. Forget dating. When her name comes up in a scandal at school and she’s left without a job or a future, Brie has to come back home to her small hometown on the beach, to the one place she swore she would never return.

Logan had it all. He was on the biggest show on TV, he had women throwing themselves at him wherever he went, and there was money to buy anything he wanted. He couldn’t explain what was missing, although he knew it was. When his agent suggests a break in order to salvage his career after a string of bad press, Logan chooses a place where he can escape into anonymity.

Brought together by a chance meeting, Brie and Logan find in each other what neither could find alone. However, real life doesn’t let you escape your past and a small town can only hide them for so long.
