Well Humoured, thrilling and very captivating.
Found it kind of hard to get into it at the beginning but once you get into the main storyline it is quite good.
I picked up this book (thinking it was a duology to be sad when I realized it wasn't and I would have to wait for the series to be fully released) but I loved it!I wasnt sure what to expect but this was an amazing read. There are witches, a great magic system, witch hunters and of course, enemies-to-lovers. All good things I enjoy in my books.The world building wasnt intimidating but it was flushed out nicely.The humor of the characters was very familiar and I loved them.

3.0 I was really looking forward to it, but it's kinda of disappointed because I have high expectations, but not only did it smash those expectations to bits , it, but also buried the bar in the floor. How've it was an okayish read because I did consider DNFing it. Of course, I am not reading the rest of the series. The enemies could have had so much banter and tension, but no, there was hardly any.
Did a reread of this book so I could remember what the heck was going on and finish the series.Still a good book, Lou was as funny as ever. One thing I didn’t enjoy was the audio - my library doesn’t carry all the ebooks of this series, but they have all three on audio. The male narrator doesn’t really sound right for Reid. Let alone sometimes he’s talking fast and other times, there were unnecessary breaks between words. Hopefully I can actually continue with the series and not drop it out of irritation for the narration.
L'histoire est bien construite avec 3 parties bien rythmés ma favorite étant la dernière parties où l'action est bien présente.Cependant ma passion pour les fanfiction m'ont fait ressentir que j'en lisais une ce qui est assez étrange je me suis pas pencher sur le sujet, c'est juste un ressenti.Sinon dès que le tome 2 sera disponible je l'acheterai pour suivre l'histoire de Reid et Louise.
I loved the enemies to lovers trope too much and this book satisfied that.The angst and magic this book offered kept me on my toes. I like the plot too and Reid's character development was such a treat.Though there are some aspects that still aren't clear to me like the types of witches that were left unexplained, I still will give this book 5 stars because I thoroughly enjoyed it!
