Was it predictable? Yes. Did I absolutely love it and am I going to turn around and listen to it all over again? Yessssss!!! Can’t wait for book two!
At the beginning of this book I enjoyed it so much. It was heading towards a 5 star read. Somewhere along the book I started to enjoy it a bit less. Wren her impulsiveness got a bit annoying. It made her feel very childish. I liked the plot twists at the end I didn't see it coming. I was doubting if I want to rwad book 2 because of Wren but I'm intrigued enough to read book 2 as well.
Loved this! A dystopian novel with great characters who build friendships and develop trust only for it to be tested and destroyed for some. The key relationship is between Cross and Wren, and I would say that there was a similarity here with 'Divergence', which is why I most probably like it as much. Two sides fighting for what they believe is right. Can't wait to read the sequel.
