Beschreibung
The protagonist, a Psy woman grappling with her identity and her newfound emotions, finds herself drawn to a Changeling who embodies passion and intensity. He represents everything she's been taught to fear, yet their connection ignites a longing she never knew existed. Their journey is fraught with challenges as they navigate the deep-seated prejudices that separate their races and the potential ramifications of their forbidden attraction.
As the narrative progresses, the stakes escalate, revealing a web of betrayals that threaten not only their love but the fragile peace between their worlds. Readers are pulled into a vivid exploration of what it means to be human, the power of love to heal, and the liberation found in embracing one’s true self.

The world of Silence which the Psy forced on its population a hundred years before separated the race from the Changling ( Shifter Humans - animal/human ) and plain bog standard Human. I would love to be a Changling... now whether I would want to be a Wolf or Big Cat shifter I can never quite decide! it changes with each book, BUT so far ( I am on Hostage to Pleasure now) its Panthers beating the Wolf pack for my favourite so far this time.ok - I will finish by saying - this is still my FAVOURITE world to disapear into and I am back off in :)
This book has been recommended to me at least 6 times for PIFM monthly challenges and all I can say is WHY did I wait so long!!!! I really enjoyed the writing style. I LOVED the characters (Sascha & Lucas) and the concept of the Psy was new and intriguing. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. And I think I'm going to have to buy a read copy.
