As Tally navigates the intricate web of societal norms and expectations, she finds herself wrestling with her past and the friends she’s lost along the way. Her loyalty to a cause that seems righteous begins to falter as she uncovers hidden motives that challenge everything she once believed. With new allies and formidable enemies around every corner, her journey becomes an exploration of power, manipulation, and the complexity of human emotions.
In the midst of this tumultuous struggle, Tally faces a critical choice: to embrace her newfound abilities to enforce conformity or to defy the very system that seeks to define her existence. The stakes rise as she discovers that being a 'Special' is not just about physical transformation, but also about the moral implications tied to one’s choices and the fight for authenticity in a manufactured world.
Ultimately, Tally stands at the precipice, confronted by the inescapable question of what it means to be truly ‘special’ in a society that rewards conformity and punishes individuality. Her journey invites readers to ponder the nature of self-worth, the meaning of beauty, and the profound impact of choice in shaping one’s destiny.

Alle anzeigen✨️Audiobook review✨️ Specials by Scott Westerfeld⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️3rd book in the Uglies series, my least favourite so far actually. Still a good book I just didn't like the way it turned out and what happened to the characters. This book was a lot more about Tally then anyone else. A few other characters were in there obviously but this one was more about how she was progressing. I love the narrator in these books, she has a unique voice that also feels kind of calming and makes you want to listen. Only book to go, I'm interested to see where it goes!
