Alle anzeigenI think that the Star Wars universe in book form might not be my thing. I do think this book was good, and I finally understand what Obi-Wan was talking about in episode 3. But I also found this book boring at times. It was interesting to see people's inner thoughts, and also funny that Obi-Wan could tell that something was going on between Anakin and Padme, but would get distracted by his own feelings before figuring out the truth. I think others will enjoy this book more than I did, though, as it was well written
── .✦ There stood Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, brothers-in- arms of the Jedi Order. And together, they were unstoppable.~˗ˏˋ˗ˏ 5 🌟 ● 🫑 ~It seems I've a nasty habit of making myself sad by reading books from before Anakin's fall. This book was so well written! The characters of Anakin and Obi-Wan were believable and the story carried them well. I also loved the popping up of Padmé, and Obi-Wan realising that something was really, truly happening between them. I also loved that she helped them with the documents. I like to think that that was a usual thing - her assisting the guys. I also adored the idea of Anakin taking to the little initiate, helping her and telling her of the Sun-Dragon. And Mill seeing that the Sun-Dragon WAS Anakin. Ruug was another character i felt attached to. And i adored that bith Anakin and Obi-Wan showed loyalty to her at the end, helping her when she would be in need. Love that they are shown coming through for their 'allies' when needed. I just… really, really loved this!
