Storm on the Levels

Amidst the haunting landscapes of the Somerset Levels, a series of brutal murders shatter the tranquility of the rural community. The chilling atmosphere is amplified by the relentless storms that rage, mirroring the turmoil and fear that grips the inhabitants. As the storm clouds gather, so too do the shadows of suspicion, casting doubt on even the most trusted individuals in the village.

With the investigation lacking leads and the body count rising, tensions escalate, creating an environment rife with paranoia. Each character is burdened with secrets, and as old grudges resurface, alliances are tested in the shadow of impending tragedy. Readers are drawn deep into the psychological maze that unfolds, exploring the delicate balance between loyalty and betrayal.

David Hodges masterfully weaves a tale of suspense that keeps readers on edge, with every twist and turn leading them deeper into the heart of darkness. The storm may rage outside, but it is the internal storms within the community that create the most chilling of mysteries.
