Beschreibung
Luke Ramage beat his way up to manhood by shilling for a two-bit tinhorn. He was a self-made gambler, and be only played the long shots.
He signed on as foreman of the second largest outfit in Thief River Basin when he set out to take over the valley. The odds were against it, but he made sure to stack the cards in his own favor.
He dealt himself a winning hand by hiring a gunhand who specialized in trouble. And he paid the killer to start a range war. It was too late when Rampage realized he'd been using a cold deck --- too late when he discovered the gunthand was hiding an ace up his sleeve.
