DNF-ed this around 57%.2 stars⭐𝐌𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬Not going to lie, I absolutely loved the start! The insta-attraction and the witty banter were superb, and it had me so excited to dive into this book! With dual POVs — Kristen and Josh, we get to see both sides of the story, which really helped me connect with the characters on a deeper level. And they both acted so, so cool — just two amazingly chill people, growing closer with each moment and being understanding of each other.Their chemistry clicked from the very first meeting, making every single moment worth reading… until Kristen decided to ruin everything. She was the most unhinged, blunt, DGAF, bold female character I’d ever seen — she knew who she was, what she needed, and communicated everything directly… and yet, she did not to share THE MOST IMPORTANT thing in her life with Josh. And from there, the book went downhill for me. Kristen kept dragging things out instead of having a real conversation, which made everything messy. She knew exactly what she wanted, yet still played with others’ feelings — pretending to do the right thing. My breaking point was the moment with Tyler — seriously, “Maybe.” Kristen? No, thank you.P.S. I kept second-guessing the boundaries of their relationship — and it definitely raised some red flags.🤔
