The NECRONOMICON needs no introduction. Its legendary pages the subject or centuries of research and controversy since Abdul al'Hazred first penned its pages, but it wasnt until Dr. John Dee attempted the english translation that the story grew.
It was in 1586 that the Necronomicon was finally translated into English by the infamous Dr. John Dee, Court astrologer and magician to Queen Elizabeth I.
His translation, based partly on a aging Greek manuscript, partly on the second Wormius Latin edition and partly on the results of Dee's own drug induced dreams and conversations with angels. The result? An edition that is considered incomplete but contains much lost arcana and is absolutely unique amongst the various versions available today of the Necronomicon.
