The Peace Terrorists

Late in the reign of one of the last western emperors, a Roman force with the Count of The Saxon Shore sailed from Gloucester for France but was blown by freakish winds all the way to the Chesapeake. Compelled to stay for two years, it encountered native tribes, planted crops, explored, got embroiled in local politics, built a fortress — and disappeared. In our own age, a saboteur demands total global nuclear missile disarmament as his price for calling off his destruction of rocket launches worldwide - while a sick electronics tycoon goes missing searching for Romans remains in a wilderness in the Tidewater area or Virginia. Could they be connected?
