Really loved the beginning and ending of this book, the middle however, wasn't it for me. I found myself growing to dislike and almost hate the main character. She shows no growth until the last chapter, which can be representative of how people with addictive personalities can make the same mistakes over and over despite their best efforts, but made sympathizing with her difficult. Loved the premise and the writing, as well as the thought provoking references and analyzation of Sappho's poems. This book can definitely make you feel existential.
