JAKE. FREAKING. CONNELY. That's it everyone, by far one of my favorite books in the entire Off Campus universe. I'm obsessed with Jake, like that's my man🤭. And I absolutely looooooved him and Brenna SM😍💗
I think this one might be my favorite. And I am not ashamed to admit that Teddy Hamilton is a big part of that. But in all this was a wonderful story. I loved Brenna and Jake. Their dynamic is hilarious and they work so well together.I wasn't surprised regarding Hazel's confession, though I was almost very disappointed in her.But overall, I enjoyed this book. I like that Ell Kennedy isn't going in the usual dramatic directions with these books, focusing mainly on the relationship between the main couple and not bringing in a lot of jealousy or threats, at least none with actual substance. The closest we get are people who do like one of the main couple but steps back when it's clear they don't feel the same. Respect. Too many times I've read a book where the one with the crush goes too far and causes turmoil between the main characters. Hazel kind of does that here but she steps back when it becomes clear Jake truly does love Brenna and will not be separating from her again.But now I get to read Hunter's story and I am looking forward to listening to him fold like wet paper when he falls for Demi. Here we go.
