A mystery figure is on a killing spree to avenge the dark stain of history and Joe Delahunty almost dies as their paths cross.
But what triggered his murderous plan? And why is Sir Meredith Bell so firmly in his sights?
The answers point to Bell Group’s murky past as slave traders and plantation owners and Joe and his fiancé Anna Heuston must unlock the secret before an even more terrible price is exacted.
As their research unfolds it leads them beneath the streets of an ancient slaving port to a dark place where murder has always stalked. But who will be the next to die?
