honestly I feel like I wasn't listening at some points but this was definitely better the second time, I don't remember it being this good.
> 1 Oh my goodness, me. How can a book be sooo trash? I don't even read thrillers, and still, I could guess what was happening from a mile away. This book has the audacity to call itself a book with plot twist, they was nothing to twist because there was no plot to being with. It tried and tired sooo hard to actually be bearable, but oh my, it was just making it worse for itself.Not only was it trash, but to add oil on to the fire, it has a melancholic end with so much sadness. The only character I liked was dead. That's how sad and bad it was. I don't even know why I wasted my time. I should have DNF-ed it. Complete waste of time and energy and just tree that were cut down to print this book. I got the book as a birthday present, and I think I should have burned it over the candles on the cake rather than read it. That would have been a better use of it. I need to bleach my mind now
This book is a mess. Robotic characters, no atmosphere. The character viewpoints are useless because they switch within their own stories. Pieces of flashbacks and even the present are so completely out of order that the author keeps repeating the same thing over and over in different ways just to make sure you're understanding. Except there is barely a story, so you're wondering why you have to keep rereading about it. You know the story within the first few chapters and nothing new happens. It goes on and on and on and never feels like it's going to wrap up. It's just all over the place so much that nothing ever happens except some running around in a house. The characters act like everything is a shocking revelation, but they all knew everything from the beginning. They are all weirdly obsessed with each other. I dunno. I should have listened to the negative reviews, but I thought ok, maybe it's juvenile but I want something light and campy. It's not worth your time at all!
