As friendships evolve and secrets unravel, the tensions among the characters create a potent mix of desire, fear, and ultimately, redemption. The narrative shines a light on the importance of communication and the struggle to believe in the goodness of others. Through moments of joy and pain, the characters embark on a journey of self-discovery, testing the limits of their resolve and resilience.
Set against a backdrop that resonates with many, the story offers an authentic portrayal of relationships that are sometimes messy but always genuine. It's a compelling reminder that trust can be rebuilt, even when the past looms large.

I have not read these series, and I do not think it is essential to read them, although I am curious to read about Liam's and the twins parents, their story sounds very interesting. Kennedy and Kira are sent from their home in Florida to California, due to a threat from people in her fathers past. Kennedy is ok with the move, having no real ties other than her parents, and she will be moving near to her uncle so its not like they are going to be alone completely. Kira is devastated because she is having to leave her boyfriend behind, so Kennedy has her hands full keeping her sisters spirits up. Her uncle arranges an interview for the girls, and also asks his friend and Young protege Liam to introduce the girls to some friends...Liam is a bit put out with the thought of babysitting, but doesn't say no. What he doesn't realise is that Kennedy is someone he met a year ago.Liam's life is sweet, great job, a social life and a loving family, he's not into having relationships... until he walks out of his office and sees the twins coming out their uncles, and realises that there standing before him is the girl who left a lasting impression on him when she disappeared after a wild night in Vegas, Kennedy didn't tell him her name, and he called her Moon, after a small tattoo she had. Liam realises that he still hasn't got over her and wants to reconnect. But Kennedy has a past that has caused her to isolate her heart, and she is fighting tooth and nail in denying the connection between the pair.So what did I think? It was OK - I have read one other of Ms McAdams books, [b:Letting Go|23222724|Letting Go|Molly McAdams|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1416780378s/23222724.jpg|41484727]which I liked and again this story is a sweet romance with a few twists in it and a few characters from an apparently well known series (that I haven't read) I liked this book, enough to give it 3.5 stars, but I didn't love it, there were certain parts that I expected to evolve into more, and one twist that I saw coming 1 page after the character was introduced, but overall its a nice romance that I am sure loads of readers will love, but for me it fell short on the suspense and action that could have evolved with one of the story lines. As I said above, I will check out the two linked series which are about the main characters parents.I think my favourite character from the story was Brian, the Tattooist AKA Cupid's Sidekick (DUDE he made me laugh)
