Unity: Book II - Rose Rising

Captain Caleb Currie finds the crew of the Rebel Destroyer Unity warming to his command style. Younger than most of those around him, he struggles to maintain credibility for the posting. Given his past success in inserting a spy into the Imperial court, he is once again tasked to penetrate Rigel space. This high-risk mission places the young captain center stage within a growing rebel movement.
Technology advances leaving the rebel edge in weaponry lost amid space dust. When it is discovered an Electromatic Pulse can negate the Imperial advantage, the Unity is sent to the dark side of Old Earth’s moon to recover aging nuclear weapons stowed there. The crew is left to struggle with head-to-head clashes with Imperial ships, while balancing the moral justifications for action against unarmed non-combatants.
Beyond the backdrop of battle, Caleb must wrestle with the affections building toward his female orderly. Duty, coupled with the chain-of-command, would preclude any such attachment. Yet, in his heart the pull remains. To what ends will he go to secure the love denied him from family when he was sent among the stars?
