I swear I lost count of how many times this man declared his love. 🥹🖤This duet isn't a dark romance because of the relationship. Their love story is surprisingly romantic, protective, and built on trust. The darkness comes from the Obsidian Order itself. The secrets, violence, corruption, and constant danger had me stressed every single chapter. It honestly felt like surviving a horror movie at times. 😭The only thing that knocked this down from a full 5⭐ for me was the twist near the end. It felt a little out of nowhere, and I wish there had been breadcrumbs throughout the story instead of it feeling like a last minute shock. And... I would've happily accepted a little more spice. 🌶️🤭But the plot twists? INSANE.The tension? Constant.The audiobook?
