Emma und Dexter verbringen eine Nacht miteinander, der 15. Juli wird für sie beide immer etwas Besonderes sein. Schon am nächsten Tag trennen sich ihre Wege. Über zwanzig Jahre lang denken sie am 15. Juli an den anderen, sie treffen sich oder sie verpassen einander knapp. Wann werden sie sich eingestehen, dass sie für einander bestimmt sind?

I'm so in between on this book. I wouldn't read it again, but there aren't too many books that I would. I'm not sure if I would recommend this book to anyone else just because there were only a few parts that I really loved. At times I couldn't put the book down because I fell in love with Emma. However, other times I didn't want to continue reading because of the douche bag that Dexter was. I really loved the technique the book took - writing a full story from just one day a year. However, it seemed as if the author really just liked writing introductions, not so much endings. Speaking of which, the ending was a tad disappointing. I did find that it was refreshing that the story was pretty real, though it dragged in some places.
Slow to draw me in for first 1/3 but then found I needed to keep reading.
