Descripción

Lex Gracie struggles with the haunting memories of her childhood, a past steeped in trauma and heartache that she desperately tries to escape. As one of the surviving siblings of a notorious family, the burdens of their infamous history weigh heavily on her. Avoiding the painful recollections, Lex attempts to carve out a new life for herself, but the shadows of her upbringing loom larger with each passing day, reminding her of the scars that refuse to fade.

In a gripping narrative woven with themes of resilience and identity, Lex’s journey unfolds as she confronts the complexities of family ties and the unrelenting nature of secrets. With each revelation, she grapples with the question of what it truly means to break free from the chains of the past. As she navigates relationships and her own sense of self, the persistent tug of her family's legacy may prove to be both a burden and a catalyst for healing.

honestly the concept of this book seemed remarkable, but I found it hard to keep up as the storyline switched from past to present almost every paragraph therefore I almost didn't want to finish it. however the various plot twists were great and interesting, but I felt like the ending was slightly underwhelming.
