Descripción

Alien Artifice is the first book in a series of science fiction novels written by Mark Chapman. The book is intended as a humorous, adventure, topical and thought provoking story with strong characters in fantastical situations. Gordon Bennett awakes in a recovery room of the medical augmentation and resus company The Body Shop in old Tottenham Court Road. The skin colour of his head does not match his body, he doesn't appear to have any male genitals and he has no noticeable respiration. The last thing he remembers is the Tower of Pisa falling on him. He runs screaming into the night only to find his life, or EgoZine, is being read by millions of people using the ubiquitous Infobabble tablet, he is being chased by two kids Cabby and Journal and a vicious mercenary called The Blender who seem to be after his head. His only hope is to keep a head of them with the help of the gang; a shiftless group of misfits who wander the world in search of pleasurable distractions and adventure and search for the mysterious alien artefact which may prove the existence of extraterrestrial alien life.
