Automatic Noodle

This could have been an enjoyable book. It was advertised and portrayed as a sweet cozy books about robots operating a noodle shop and instead it was only a vehicle for the author to be very heavy handed in their political messaging. Like, omg, it was way over the top to be cringe. There is a way to write books to if you want some kind of message or real life paraells to be made, you can do so without it being so ham fisted and to actually make people think and challenge their beliefs. This type of messaging is only for people who already believe in what you do, it's not challenging.

A+, no notes. A wonderfully cosy wee story about friendship, belonging, community, and some robots who just want to make good noodles.Em Grosland is one of my favourite audiobook narrators and I was thrilled to discover they narrated this book.
