I am still so torn in how I feel about this series. On the one hand, I really like the world, the magics, the creatures, and the mysteries. On the other, I am getting really tired of the relationship drama. There were so many times where Fortuna was getting down and dirty with one of her harem of love interests and all I could think was "this is neither the time, the place, nor the emotional state for this". All the romances are incredibly toxic in one way or another, which makes me not want to root for any of them. Fortuna's constant guilt-tripping was also getting more than a little annoying by the end. That and the ending fatigue really killed me.
