Bluff

They think I took one for the team, but I know the truth. And the bluff has begun.

I’m the other second-in-command of the Las Vegas Russian Bratva. I show no mercy, feel little emotion. Numbers are my domain, computers my escape, and pain my passion.

She wasn’t supposed to be a part of my world. She hates men like me, and I shouldn’t care about her. But the moment I saw her picture, something inside me shifted. My dormant body came alive, and now I crave her in ways I shouldn’t.

I’m going to marry her. Tie her to me. And I’ll relish her being mine.

But there’s a problem. To keep her, I’ll have to go up against another powerful family. My past—locked away beneath my usually calm exterior—resurfaces, bringing with it a thirst for revenge I’ve buried for years. When she’s in danger, nothing else matters.
