So when she saw Barry at the coffee shop that she’d stopped at, desperate for some caffeine to wake her up, Bridgette was taken aback when she felt that familiar twinge of excitement run through her body. But he wasn’t what she’d come to expect from suits. Most of them ignored her and if they didn’t ignore her their eyes were filled with contempt for her. Most guys in suits didn’t appreciate a little blonde girl with a pixie cut hair style and shit-kicker Doc Martins that refused to dress in “sexy” clothes to be seen a certain way. Bridgette had a kind of look that they didn’t appreciate.

But Barry – he looked her right in the eye, then let his gaze travel up and down her body, and gave her the lustiest smile she’d ever seen from a guy like him. And it totally threw her off. So much so that she spilled her coffee and had to look down to wipe it off the counter. When she looked back up, he was gone.
